Our guests, Restaurant Owners, and our corporate team are dedicated to making a true difference for individuals, our communities and the planet.

On behalf of Tim Hortons, I am proud to share the progress made on our sustainability and responsibility initiatives in 2014. In my short time with Tim Hortons, it is already clear to me that our guests, Restaurant Owners, and our corporate team are dedicated to making a true difference for individuals, our communities and the planet.

Our Making a True Difference™ framework is the way we define sustainability and responsibility at Tim Hortons. Our relationship with the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation, generous contributions made by our Restaurant Owners to local communities through programs such as Smile Cookie and Timbits Minor Sports, and our commitment to the Tim Hortons Coffee Partnership demonstrate how we are all making a true difference in the communities in which we do business. Some of our key accomplishments in 2014 include:

2014 was an important year for Tim Hortons. It was the 50th Anniversary of the company, and together with our Restaurant Owners and guests, we celebrated our history and our pride in being Canada’s favourite coffee. It was also the year that marked the creation of our new parent company Restaurant Brands International, a new Canadian based global powerhouse in the quick service restaurant industry, positioning Tim Hortons for significant future growth.

As we look to the future, we maintain our commitment to making a true difference and its importance is recognized in our brand vision: To be the fastest growing global restaurant brand with the best people proudly serving Canada’s favourite coffee while making a true difference in our communities.

On behalf of Tim Hortons and our Restaurant Owners, I would like to thank you for your interest in our sustainability and responsibility progress over this past year.
